Scrapbooking Virtual Retreat 2025, the first ever for Stampin’ Up!®, be part of history. New Zealand time is 8 am – 4:30 pm and each day is recorded if you can’t make it live. Hosted by Stampin’ Up!, you will have different presenters showcasing their month with their family photos. I am hoping to be able to do this with some friends, in person, on each day. First step is to get the kit, which my budget says end of June, even with my discount. Fingers crossed it hasn’t sold out before then. It is a large one off purchase, $525 + S&H, but you will finish with a month by month double spread waiting for your photos, plus two (double) stamp sets to use again and again.
The album is being promoted as a year in review, your photo’s can be from several years ago, a mix of different years or you might want to use it for the year ahead. I’m planning to make the album for my son and daughter in-law as they have so many photos now that they have their first child (my first grandchild). Disclaimer: (if they see this post) I might also keep it for myself.
How do I sign up?
Purchase the kit to join the Facebook Live or watch the recording. Code (167338). 12 Double page layouts, one for every month. Your kit arrives pre cut, month titles are interchangeable, it includes 2 stamp sets with double sheets of stamps, 12″ x 12″ sleeves, and much more, see list below. You will need your own inks and adhesives, album not included. While supplies last.

What is in the kit?
- Two exclusive stamp sets

Change the month to suit your photos
Change the January title to July to match the New Zealand winter, unless you were overseas skiing in January. Each month is in the same font, in black chipboard, so you can change them around to suit your photos. I might hold off sticking mine on until I have chosen the photos, just put them in the protector for the time being.
Learn new techniques
The scrapbooking retreat kit is different from the scrapbooking workshops available in the online store. Everything is precut, saving you time and effort. There are interactive elements, you will learn different types and how to alter your memory protectors so you don’t have to pull the pages out to access them, more photos, hidden journalling, etc. I am most looking forward to making the explosion box that is part of the September spread. For me, as a paper crafter new to scrapbooking, having a three day focus on creating, techniques and learning is ideal.
Did you know that you can pause and rewind the live videos as they are happening. So don’t worry about keeping up or taking breaks when you want. Plus the video will be available soon after each day has finished. Watch the Stampin’ Up! You Tube video below to see each page and the interactive parts shown, plus a hint of what we might learn over the three days. Sarah and Karen are clear that this retreat is suitable for all levels of crafters. You can join live for the whole event, parts of it, or be totally replay. The choice is yours and maybe your employer if you are working during the live event.

What other supplies do I need?
The PDF lists the other supplies you need. Mainly inks and adhesives. It is great to have the suggested colours but don’t worry if they are not in your stash. If you don’t want to purchase more ink use similiar colours. Most additional supplies you will already have or something similar. You can print off the additional supplies list below.
